Counting of tigers ,which ranks first in the wildlife census going on these days,presents a sorry picture.The tigers have not only reduced in numbers but in certain sanctuaries they have totally vanished.The first news came from Sariska wildlife sanctuary in Rajasthan ,with no trace of the tiger.All the tigers were killed by the infamous hunter Sansar Chand and other greedy villge folks.This led to the PM Dr.Singh to undertake a high level probe and tigers are being rehabilitated here once again.
